What's your diet?

While I do not believe or practice some of diets, I would like to respect people's choices. But my diet is low fat & low carb diet, which avoids all sorts of food that has high calories for a serving size. For example, a candy bar is small in size (serving size) but usually has high calories.

Based on what I have learned in my college education, the process of gaining weight to overweight is pretty simple: if you "over-eat" and consume too many calories from food, you will most likely gain weight.

Over-eating is usually the strongest factor for you to gain weight and become overweight. Even in many cases, a genetic factor is weaker than that. So, if you can control what you eat, you can pretty much control your weight.

That's why I try to avoid food that has high calories. Naturally, I tend to avoid high-fat food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fried food, etc.

You are probably right. I also think it's more a matter of how many calories you take and how much you can use them up by exercises.

Some diets encourage people to eat anything. I don't quite understand how that could be possible. Sure enough, people like those easy diet programs as much as they like easy/lazy cardio exercises. It doesn't really make sense!

Fact:

1g Fat = 9 calories
1g Protein = 4 calories
1g Carbohydrate = 4 calories

It really is a simple math, don't you think?

I usually use diet pills very comfortable and doesn’t stress me and I don’t have to think about not eating that or this. I tried a lot o diets, sports but I’m very busy and don’t really have the time for this and using pills is the best way for me. If you would like to try I recommend the next online pharmacy Cheap Pills

I am a weight loss Counselor for Belly Buster Diet, we are a low carb, low fat diet and have different weight loss programs for each individual person. It is a wonderful program and people are dropping 3-5 lbs a week on it. We don't eat any processed foods, all fresh foods. You would be surprised by the amount of toxins that are put in our bodies by these processed boxed, fast foods. feel free to contact me sdwalker@texoma.net if you would like more information about becoming a weight loss consultant for us or using our program.

Wow...

A whole thread on diet but not a word about nutrition.

If your diet is fundamentally focused on weight loss, it will fail. You might lose weight for a time, but at what cost? Foods that are extremely low in calories, generally lack the the nutrition your body needs. As a result you will have cravings and other effects of nutrition deprivation.

These types of diets ultimately fail because you cannot survive on them long term, and overwhelmingly these dieters (and pill poppers too) return to the Standard American Diet. Eventually gaining back all the weight lost with a vengeance.

I tried all these things too, but I have settled into a vegan diet (largely raw). It is low in calories but extremely dense nutritionally. It works for me.

God Bless,

Robert
